The Guild of Oregon Woodworkers, founded in 1982, is a non-profit volunteer organization comprised of several hundred members, approximately 30% professional people and 70% amateurs and hobbyists of various skill levels. Guild members have a variety of woodworking interests, including furniture design and construction, cabinet making, antique furniture restoration, turning, carving and sculpture. The Guild is supported by membership dues and local sponsors in the wood industry and related businesses. Guild members produce objects of wood in every form from fine furniture and musical instruments to canoes and stagecoaches
